> Time is the devourer of all things. - Ovid It's amazing. This week in an email to a friend I made a quick catalog of all the things going on in my life. After I finished the note, I read it again and saw I was burning the candle at both ends, in the middle, and learned the curtains have also caught fire. As a present to myself this Christmas, I've decided that it's about time to write myself a time management application. Something small and sweet. It'll actually have a lot in common with a project planning and management application and calendaring system, with some time tracking, note capturing, and alarms and notification mechanisms thrown in. I'm thinking web-based using Rails so I can get at it from everywhere. And hopefully AJAX out the wazoo. It'd be nice to live with a little bit more focus. Of course, I can only hope that'll happen; I've always tended to cast structure to the wind in my personal life.
